communal bodies and as patron of the Friends of Progressive Judaism in Israel

Sir John Balcombe Research fund in Family Law and the creation of the Lord
Taylor of Gosforth project for major research into vital aspects of criminal
law, to commemorate their work, at the Hebrew University.

Dame Law School, London as a certified mediator in Alternative Dispute
