He is a labour, commercial and sports arbitrator, and mediator.

Court of Arbitration for Sports {CAS} appointed as on site ad hoc arbitrator at
the Winter Olympics in Japan (1998), the Summer Olympics in Sydney (2000) and
Commonwealth Games in Manchester (2002); arbitrator for the International
Commission on Holocaust Era Insurance Claims {ICHEIC}; Inquiries-Rugby Canada
(1999), Chair of the Independent International Review Commission on Doping
Control, United States Track and Field (USATF) (2000/01), Chairman of the ATP
Tennis Anti-Doping Tribunal (2002 - present), Co-chief arbitrator for the ADR
